2D Animation is the process of generating motions in 2 dimensional scope. This involves creating special characters, people, cartoons, visual & special effects along with their environment. One has the illusion of motion when designed characters are placed together sequentially. 24 frames are normally used per second. 2D motion pictures has advanced a lot from time sketches were made manually to presently using softwares like Toon Boom, After Effects etc.
